1/ One of the larger mines to produce #Uranium (albeit as a by-product) is $BHP Olympic Dam. Today they released quarterly figures which showed a large % decrease in the amount of Uranium produced. In fact, production fell 30% on the same quarter last year and 18% on last quarter

2/ The reduced rate of production is as a result of "lower volumes at Olympic Dam due to unplanned downtime at the smelter" and the lower volumes are expected to continue: "2020 financial year is broadly unchanged for our operated assets and reflects lower volumes at Olympic Dam"

3/Seems like everything is pointing towards tighter and tighter #uranium production, while demand remains unchanged, if not growing during the #covid19 shutdown.
