Why Hakim Ziyech is possibly better than Europes elites and has the potential to be even better

Nicholas Pepe vs Hakim Ziyech
• Ziyech with more assists (+9)
• More long pass accuracy (+4.5%)
• More short pass accuracy (+3.9%)
• More shots on goal (+2.9)
• More goals (+3)

Since 2016, Ziyech has 51 assists and 38 goals in the Eredivise alone. Along with that, he’s made 421 goal scoring chances for his teammates since then.

The only argument rival fans can give is Ziyech looks good on paper because of his league. He is probably better and has the potential to be better if NOT than Europe’s elite.

We can all go on transfermrkt’s website to see stats. Compare him yourself to other players but be fair. Then come back to this thread and argue why he can’t be if not is already better than most rival players.
