(1/6) Genuine questions (I don't know the answers) re: money raised for the NHS during this unprecedented time, e.g. Tom Moore, etc. etc.
(2/6) (a) How does this money get to the actual NHS? Is it a central pot or does it go to a specific country/trust/hospital?
(3/6) (b) How is it decided what the money is spent on?
(4/6) (c) Why does the NHS need funding from private fundraising when it's funded by the government via taxes?
(5/6) (d) Does the fundraising websites take a slice of the money raised?
(6/6) Would love someone in the know to explain this to me.
