As Salamu alayk'um
Can you explain me Sahih muslim hadith no 2457
Will it be Bilal (RA) to enter jannah first — Very good question, I’ll explain it below this tweet https://curiouscat.me/beard3d_prodigy/post/1085285290

The Hadeeth number you have mentioned is among those Ahaadeeth which show that Bilal رضي الله عنه will be ahead of the Prophet in Jannah. Shaykhayn have narrated Hadeeth in this matter. For example Imam Bukhari رحمه الله has mentioned in his Sahih:

Imam Muslim رحمه الله has mentioned this in his Sahih:

These Ahaadeeth however does not mean that Bilal رضي الله عنه will enter before the Prophet ﷺ because the Hadeeth of Anas bin Malik رضي الله عنه The hadeeth is also mentioned in Muslim:

So how do we explain this?
Allahmah Ayni in his Sharh on Bukhari mentions that this advancement of Bilal رضي الله عنه is not in acc reality but is there as an example since in real-time Bilal رضي الله عنه would always walk ahead of the Prophet ﷺ and hence was...

shown to him in that manner. This does not indicate that he will enter Jannah before him.
Allahmah Mubarkfuri رحمه الله also mentions In Tuhfatul Ahwazi that this this is normally the manner in a slave walks in; meaning he walks ahead of his master [to clear the path etc]
[6/ ]
He, Mubarakfuri رحمه الله, further says that the Prophet ﷺ informed him to so that that he may feel joy and comfort him along with encouraging him to remain steadfast on doing that virtuous action...

Hafidh ibn Hajar رحمه الله in his Magnum Opus, Fathul Bari, writes that due to this habit in reality (Bilal رضي الله عنه walking ahead of Prophet ﷺ) the Prophet ﷺ was shown as such in his dream. Bilal رضي الله عنه can not enter before the Prophet ﷺ since..
[8/ ]
he is in the ruling of a follower (of the Prophet ﷺ) and the Prophet ﷺ saying this was to give the good news of Bilal رضي الله عنه steadfastness in this religion till his death and his closeness to the Prophet ﷺ himself.

Ibn Al-Qayyim, Allahmah Iraqi, Mullah Ali Qari and others all have also mentioned along those lines رحمهم الله.
