I'm going to make a full on unpopular opinion thread when it comes to anime. Get ready!

Seven Deadly Sins is one of the most overrated anime of all time.

I'm NOT talking about Season 3, talking about Season 1 and 2.

Very average plot, characters, writing, etc.

HxH has no bad arc.

Ppl like to dunk on Greed Island, but IMO, it accomplished a lot and it is a solid 8/10 arc.

Also, Genthru is an appropriate antagonist, not bad by any means.

Deku is a MUCH better protagonist than Tanjiro.

I have seen a lot of people put Deku and Tanjiro in the same league, and I can't agree at all tbh.

Deku is awesome, and crying does NOT make him bad by any means.

Gabi from Attack on Titan is a terrific character.

Just because she did something to a certain character in a manga doesn't make her horrible at all.

Unlikeable does not equate to badly written.

I adore One Piece, but one of my biggest problems with it as how often it uses sad backstories to make good characters.

I can only be hit in the feels so many times, and using sad backstories that have a similar structure continuously gets very repetitive.

Feitan is one of the most overrated characters in HxH.

Is he good? Yes.

Is he one of the best characters in HxH? Not even close.

Gon and Killua are BOTH phenomenal characters.

I prefer Killua, but saying Killua >> Gon is going too far IMO :)

Light is a better character than L, and the best MC in all of anime

Levi is overrated in certain aspects, and underrated in others.

He is incredible at the end of the day but ppl give him credit in the wrong places IMO :)

The last third of Death Note is MUCH better than people give it credit for.

Near is NOT a copy of L at all, and the ending in both the anime and the manga (especially the manga) is terrific.

One Piece antagonists are amazing, ESPECIALLY Doflamingo, but they are not as GOATED as some ppl make them seem

FMAB has little to no flaws as an anime.

Ppl like to say the 1st couple of episodes were pretty mediocre, but I found myself engaged watching them personally.

Shaiapouf, Pariston, and Ging are all incredible characters and WAY better than ppl give them credit for.

Pariston in particular is one of the most underrated antagonists in ALL OF ANIME.

Again is an overrated FMAB opening (great, but overrated).

Rain and Period are the 2 best FMAB OPs without question for me.

Demon Slayer has gotten so much hate to the point that I actually feel as if it's kind of underrated LMAO

It's a great show, but far from the best IMO :)

And lastly, Yorknew City and Chimera Ant are both 10/10 arcs.

I've seen ppl dunking on Yorknew saying it's nowhere near as good as Chimera, and vica versa.

Both are arcs and 10/10 no question in my books.
