It’s easy to see a lot of stupidity out there in the USA protesting to open up. But at the same time, they’re desperate because they can’t exist.
They’re not getting 2 grand a month like here, so as much as many are obtuse, just as many are completely backed into a corner.

So as much as I am saying yes it’s the wrong course of action to be in a large protesting crowd, but it’s easy to make a bad choice when you are starving and broke.

Watching TV, these are poor people mostly out there on the streets. Many with placards saying they need to work.
Here we can play the waiting game to stay alive because our government is taking care of us.

You can see such poverty in so many places. Lineups for food banks that stretch for miles and miles. One food back served all day then at the end of the day the lineup was still miles long so they gave out coupons for the next time.
Meanwhile, there are bailouts for hedge funds, multinationals, even a bailout for Panamanian cruise lines who don’t even pay taxes. Millionaires got $1.6 million relief while commoners got only $1200 for 4 months.

So yeah, it’s easy to be judgemental & Lord knows I have been, but I wonder how brilliant would my actions & my fellow Canadians actions be if we all hadn’t eaten for a week or rent was past due.
My hopes are with them. They’re gonna need some true compassion; not lip service.
