@GovKemp You can honestly say with a straight face that Georgia is meeting both the Core Responsibilities AND the Gating Criteria to move into Phase One of the re-opening guidance?
If so, prove it. Show your analysis. Show the numbers that support this idiocy.

I’ve been happy to do take-out and curbside delivery from locally-owned restaurants the last couple weeks. I refuse to patronize any restaurant that re-opens for dine-in based on your new policies. The risk of staff being infected and then giving it to ME is too high.
Re-opening too early, as you are doing, will make the last few weeks of suffering of small businesses across the state even worse. The economy will not rebound quickly enough to save them without more gov $ anyway, and you have guaranteed a longer, and more pronounced outbreak.
I am not prone to long rants on twitter. I try very hard to avoid political discussions at all.
But I have to call a spade a spade: You are acting recklessly and incompetently. The good people of Georgia deserve better than this.

You don’t open up while you’re still working on “doubling down” on testing. You open up once you know that effort is a success and that you really know the case # is falling consistently for a long period.
