Any antibody study that advertises for participants will show higher positive than in the general population. This is because it attracts people who had been sick and want a confirmation of the infection. There is a selection bias.
The only way to get a true idea of the infection rate is real random sampling. This should be done by labs taking blood for other reasons and checking for antibodies. Blood banks, too.
