THREAD: Can we please just dump this binary shit about how to respond to coronavirus. We can open up and yet as individuals use extra care to keep virus from spiking again. I'll be sheltering-in-place for many more months to keep our son safe, but America must reopen. 1/

2/ But that doesn't mean Americans should just "live as normal" b/c you spreading the virus impacts others. So put on a damn mask in public in case you are asymptomatic. Don't host big parties. Wash your hands like your life depended on it & stay home if sick.

3/ Go ahead and protest stupid rules like you can't buy garden seeds or have landscapers do work for you, but don't equate that with common sense wearing of masks for the public health where it is asymptomatic spread is common. Don't do it b/c the gov't told you.

4/4 Do it because its the right thing to do. Or if that doesn't work for you, do it b/c if you don't, it will spike and then the gov't will force you to. Vent and swearing over.
