A buyer I spoke to said what I think. He doesn't expect there to be wholesale changes in Toronto prices. Maybe down a little, but, dig deeper. What he hopes for is, a change to the WAY we buy and sell. No more multiple bids for example. I doubt things will change.

#YYZRE or Toronto Real Estate isn't going to become more calm if/when covid passes. Things might rocket back up again, or they might not. A calm market is my favourite - but I can't dictate it. Nobody can.

If you want(ed) a calm buying process, you got your wish! If you want(ed) lower prices, those are coming! Don't cry me a river that you didn't buy during a pandemic when things get heated again. And for sure they will. This market is hella-resilient. You'll see.
