Not gonna link the story but I really think this is awful. If you are an urbanist or transit or safe-streets advocate your focus should be on systems, not individuals.

The next few years are going to be hard if you care about transit. There will be a full-scale assault from the same hacks who always hated transit and what it can represent. Keep your eye on the ball, and don’t waste your time yelling at your erstwhile allies.
