Yoongi has a pain kink
Kinda nsfw (Yoongi is horny)
It's all Jungkook's fault
Yoongi loved tattoos, always loved how they looked, something so permanent etched into the skin. However, he was too scared to go through with getting any himself. But not for the reasons you'd think, it wasn't the pain he was scared of but more his bodily response to pain.
You see, Yoongi had a bit of a pain kink- he found out once when his ex-boyfriend spanked him and he almost came on the spot. It wasn't just a matter of pain equals arousal but the adrenaline of pain in certain situations- and being tattooed was a close and intimate experience.
Could he risk tenting his pants in front of a stranger while they touched him completely un-erotically? He wasn't sure what would happen if he went through with it but the risk made him shy away from the idea.
That was until his dumbass but well meaning little brother decided to gift him a session with one of Seoul's best tattoo artists, the kind that's often booked for months in advance. It was his dream shop to go to when he one day got the courage.
And how could he say no to those puppy dog eyes, the pride on his face when Jungkook beamed, "I know you're scared it will hurt but you've wanted this forever and I know you can do it!"

Yoongi winced, "How did you even get this? They're always booked solid."
Yoongi flipped the card over again and again but the insignia was clear and the hologram was legitimate. Jungkook scratched his head and looked sheepish, "I- I have a friend on the inside."

"A friend?" Yoongi said cocking his brow in suspicion.
"He's just some guy, I'm fine don't go all protective big brother on me." Jungkook pouted and Yoongi tried to hold back his natural instincts to threaten the guy.

"What's his name?" Yoongi asked, trying to seem supportive and not at all like he was trying to figure him out.
Jungkook sighed, sounding both smitten and frustrated at the same time, "Namjoon."

"Family name?"

"None of your business." He huffed, crossing his arms, "Just accept your gift and stop asking questions."
Yoongi accepted defeat and ruffled his hair, "Sorry, I'm really grateful, really, thank you."

"You're welcome." Jungkook said with a roll of his eyes and a sly smile, allowing himself to let down his guard again. "You'll be fine, I'm rooting for you!"

If only he knew.
He couldn't back out of this now and truth be told he didn't want to, he couldn't let go of something he truly wanted just because he might get a little aroused, besides the artist probably wouldn't even notice right?

"Hi, you must be Yoongi."

Oh no...

"I'm Taehyung it's a pleasure to meet you."

Oh fuck...he was hot.

Both of his arms were covered with intricate artwork, his shaggy dark brunette hair fell over his eyes just a little and that smile, holy shit was that smile was to die for.
Yoongi didn't even register that the man was holding out his hand to shake until he started to retract it at which Yoongi panicked and grabbed his fingertips, "I- Yoongi, yes." Taehyung's hand slipped into palm and squeezed, "Nervous?"

"You could say that." Yoongi gulped.
"You'll survive I promise, you're in good hands." Taehyung wiggled his long elegant fingers and Yoongi's heart did a flip. "Now just take a seat and I'll be right back with your stencil." He said, patting the leather seat of the studio chair.
Yoongi took a deep breath and got comfortable, trying not to shift in the seat and make the leather squeak, he looked around at the artwork and various figures and ephemera decorating the walls, hoping that if he focused on those he might not make a fool out of himself.
Taehyung came back with a thin sheet of paper, the outline of the Yoongi's tattoo on it in purple, "Now where are we putting this bad boy?"

"Uhh, my shoulder." Yoongi shrugged.

"Oh and you wore a loose shirt so I don't have to take it off." Taehyung said with a wink.
He hadn't even thought about it, always wearing loose comfortable clothing- but for this one day he was so grateful he had, imagining how hard it would be to sit here topless as well as his...other issue.

Taehyung put on some gloves and scooped some vaseline onto his fingers.
"If you could just slide your top off your shoulder so I can apply the transfer."

Yoongi did so, feeling more exposed than he should.

Taehyung applied the vaseline and then rubbed the paper over it, leaving a purple outline on his skin. "Okay, go look in the mirror for me."
Yoongi shimmied off the chair, standing to look at the design on his shoulder.

"What do you think? Does it need to change placement?" Taehyung hummed, admiring the stencil, "I want to get it perfect so don't worry about changing it as much as you need."
Yoongi turned this way and that, trying to look at it from all angles. This was it, he was finally getting his first tattoo and excitement rushed through him, "It's perfect." He grinned.

Taehyung giggled, "Glad to see the nerves have gone, now don't lose that pretty smile."
Yoongi was back in the seat, the exhilaration making him feel giddy. Taehyung set up his equipment, arranging inks on his side table and pressing the pedal a few times to check everything was working just fine. "Alright, are we ready?"

Yoongi took a deep breath, he didn't know.
He nodded, trying to stay focused on a poem scrawled across the wall, reading it's words over and over. The buzz was cathartic in a way but then he felt the sharp sting and a whine escaped his lips.

He was mortified.

But Taehyung didn't say a thing.
He managed to hold it in for a few more minutes but he could feel the sting travel down his arm making his hand tingle and he had to let it out, throwing his head back onto the head rest with a deep breath. "You doing okay? Letting it out helps with the pain." Taehyung smiled.
Of course people made sounds while they were being stabbed hundreds of times in succession by tiny needles, he'd never felt more relieved but sadly he let go a little too much, releasing out a lewd moan as Taehyung's hand brushed his neck with another sharp scratch.
And Taehyung giggled, he actually giggled and Yoongi wanted to be swallowed by the ground in that moment. "I thought you were scared of the pain, but guess not huh? Don't worry cutie, you're not the first, your secret's safe with me."

Other people enjoyed this? He wasn't weird?
"They say it can be addictive, getting tattoos. I think it's true, I know it's true, you rarely see someone with just one. There's a nice adrenaline rush and some people, yeah they like the pain."

Yoongi was struggling now, acknowledging his arousal and squirming in his seat.
"I know it's difficult but you gotta try and stay still" Taehyung said softly, wiping away some of the excess ink, "do you need a break?"

Yoongi shook his head, closing his eyes, "No, no it's fine I'm fine." He said as he tried to ignore the tightening of his pants.
"Hey, Yoongi." Taehyung's voice was so deep and velvety.

"Hmm?" Yoongi felt blissful.

"Your brother said you were single."

Yoongi's eyes shot open, "Jungkook what?"

Taehyung shrugged, "He just mentioned it. Should I not have said?"
"I- " did Jungkook set him up? "Yeah, I'm single.."

"I must say I'm surprised." Taehyung chuckled, "Going to start the color now."

Taehyung switched the needles, "This one will actually be less painful, sorry."
"Are you going to make fun of me this whole time?" Yoongi sighed, realising he'd said that out loud and not just in his head.

"Ah I'm not trying to, I think it's kind of cute to be honest."

"How is it cute when I-" Yoongi moaned again.

Taehyung bit his lip so he didn't laugh.
"Don't laugh at me!" Yoongi pouted, feeling another wave of arousal rush through him as Taehyung worked over a sore area.

"I didn't laugh!"

"You wanted to." It seemed adrenaline made Yoongi brave. "Why did Jungkook even mention I was single? What's that got to do with- fuck."
"We were just talking and he said he had an older brother who was really into tattoos, that's all. So I asked if you were single, he showed me some pictures, no big deal."

"He- shit...hurts."

"Need me to stop?"

Yoongi whined, "No, no don't stop."

This time Taehyung did laugh.
"I didn't mean it like that, oh my god!" Yoongi groaned in embarrassment.

"Are you sure?" Taehyung asked, eyes flickering to the very prominent area of Yoongi's pants.

"How much longer?"

"About half an hour if you behave."

Yoongi twitched and Taehyung noticed.
"I'm never getting another tattoo." Yoongi groaned.

"Aww, don't say that, are you not having a good time with me?" Taehyung tutted.

He didn't want to admit it but Taehyung was enchanting him with every breath, "Do I have to get a tattoo to see you?"

"Oh." Taehyung grinned.
"Don't make me ask."

"You're no fun- though I am enjoying you squirming under me." Taehyung whispered against his ear and Yoongi's heart almost gave out.

"You can't just say that while you have me like this!" Yoongi gulped, flushed and shy.
"You flirted first." Taehyung said as he added the finishing touches to his work.

"You said I was single!"

"You are single." He shrugged.

Yoongi grumbled under his breath, he was going to kill Jungkook for making him deal with this...this dream of a man.
"So, you wanna take me on a date? You owe me for this piece after all."

Yoongi scoffed, "I'm literally paying you?"

"I know, I just wanted to see if you'd say yes." And Taehyung showed that smile again, the one that made Yoongi's head spin. He chewed on his lip, pondering.
"What's the catch?" Yoongi teased trying to play him at his own game even if he knew Taehyung would win, "Well, for one I own a couple of riding crops, and I don't ride horses."

Yoongi stopped breathing, "What the fuck is that supposed to mean?!"

Taehyung just shrugged.
"One date." Yoongi said, trying to seem like it wasn't based on the image of Taehyung smacking his ass with a riding crop.

"That seems a little early to decide, don't you think?" Taehyung pulled out some tape and plastic wrap and wiped down his tattoo one last time.
His shoulder was hot and sore and Taehyung's hand pressing down on it as he wrapped it made him whimper just the once more. He pulled his top back up and sat on the edge of the chair. "Don't get up too quick." Taehyung warned.
He wondered why and then realised as he felt a little dizzy, the adrenaline mixed with the pain and slight blood loss, "Have some water, you'll be okay in a little while."

Yoongi took the cup from Taehyung's hand and took a long drink. "Where do you want to go?"
"Huh?" Taehyung looked up from where he was tidying away his equipment.

"A date, where do you want to go?"

Taehyung hummed in thought, "I like museums, movies, music...you pick."

"I'm a rapper! I mean- I perform sometimes.

"Well that's...really hot." Taehyung's eyed widened.
Yoongi was really facing all his fears tonight, "You could come see me some time? Then drinks?"

Taehyung looked like he was ready to devour him already, "That sounds perfect."

He'd never had someone interested in his passion for music before and it felt kind of nice for once.
"Here." Taehyung scribbled on a piece of paper, "This is so you can call or text me for any concerns about your tattoo's healing."

"Oh? Just that?" Yoongi said sadly.

Taehyung folded his arms, "What do you think?"

"I think you're going to hurt me again." Yoongi hummed.
Taehyung chuckled sweetly, "Only if you ask nicely."

"I might just have to do that." Yoongi said and grabbed his things, baffled by the whole experience but with a new spring in his step as he walked down the street.
And then his phone buzzed, a picture flashing up on the screen.

[ Do you enjoy hurting me? ]
[Just as much as you enjoy me hurting you ☺️]

[ That's probably concerning amount ]

[ Maybe, but I hope we can enjoy finding out for sure soon, T x ]

[ Soon, I promise x ]
Yoongi didn't expect things to go this way, he didn't think his embarrassing kink would land him a date and to be honest he was excited to get to know Taehyung beyond all that, he liked museums, movies, he wanted to know more. For once he was grateful for his little secret.
Maybe not being scared and ashamed was the best way to be, allowing him to accept things that he couldn't change and finding people along the way who would like him despite his quirks instead of who he might be pretending to be.
But there was one thing he knew for sure- he was already looking forward to his next tattoo and all the new experiences to come.
