So, based purely on its Steam reviews (I've never heard of it mentioned anywhere else), I picked up Clone Drone In The Danger Zone, which is half-price here.

Its been in early access 3 years. 450+ almost universally positive reviews in the past month.
In short, it's a solo/co-op low-fi lightsaber gladiator game. If you hit any kind of key component on an enemy, they instantly die. You die in one hit too, unless you invest one of your previous between-matches upgrade point in armor. It also feels really satisfying.
There are almost 25,000 user-made arenas on the Steam workshop, ranked by difficulty, and the Endless mode has an option to randomly shuffle downloaded user-made stages into the mix. There's also a Twitch integration mode where players can alter the matches you're playing.
It is the very definition of a simple concept done well. Robots with lightsabers chopping each other up in endless permutations of levels. They're apparently shooting for a latter-half-of-2020 launch.

It's also surprisingly restrained. Only a handful of weapons, plus kicking.
I also noticed that the difficulty settings in the story-mode not only change the enemy compositions, but the dialogue too. The commentator-bots point out how ridiculous it is that you're fighting robo-raptors as early as the second level.

Good detail, good for replay value.
So yeah, consider that an endorsement. Not sure about $20 (let's see how long I end up playing it for), but for $10? Clone Drone In The Danger Zone is a good'un.
