On April 20, 1989, Patricia Meehan mysteriously disappeared. A haunting Unsolved Mysteries segment recreated her bizarre disappearance. Let's take a look, shall we? #UnsolvedMysteries #PatriciaMeehan
Patricia Meehan was driving alone near Circle, Montana, nearly 400 miles away from her home in Bozeman. What was she doing on this old highway? Where was she going? Why did she decide to drive on the wrong side of the road, directly into oncoming traffic, causing a car crash?
Patricia hit Carol Heitz head on. Miraculously, Carol was not hurt. As she waited for help, Patricia emerged out of the darkness. According to Carol, "She just stared. Never said anything. Nothing. Just stared at me. I will never forget her."
Peggy Bueller also spotted Patricia. She noticed "someone on the other side of the fence, standing there like a spectator, not like that it had happened to her."

Like a spectator. Like a ghost.

Patricia turned away and vanished into a dark field.
Following her disappearance, Patricia has haunted the I90 corridor from Sioux Falls, South Dakota to Seattle, Washington. Spotted at truck stops and diners, she appears disoriented and confused. There are whispers of amnesia. Whispers of a fugue state.
After her disappearance an undeveloped roll of film was discovered. Patricia had taken a photo of herself, gazing into a mirror. Robert Stack, ever the crypt keeper, states, "In this haunting self portrait she looks out at a world that she may have decided to abandon."
Thank you for following this thread. What do you think happened to Patricia? Where did she go? And what do you feel when you look at her photo? Does she look lost or determined?
