Update on my anxiety. I turned 18 two weeks ago which means I was on the CAMHS waiting list for at least three years, no contact or anything. I spent two years with such bad anxiety I couldn’t leave my house. We NEED more funding desperately! @matthaig1 @campbellclaret @DrRosena

Whilst I feel I have got my anxiety to a mangeable level on my own, it’s unacceptable that young people are left on waiting lists until they turn eighteen, where they are transferred onto an even longer list. A medical professional said to me “they only see the suicide attempts”

What kind of society do we live in where we’re telling young people that attempting suicide is the only way you’re considered for help?

Funding young people’s mental health alleviates adult services and is better for prevention. I had two years of mental agony because of it
