I’ve been doing claim sales for a long time. Did it quite a bit, then stopped doing them for quite a while mostly because of the time investment. I had other responsibilities as a father and coach, etc.

Im seeing a lot of people want to do one for the first time and I think-
It’s great. It’s good for you as a hobby person and it’s good to have cards on the market for people to choose from.

some advice:
-If your twitter account is new, consider establishing yourself in twitter land first by making some transactions and friends.
-Post hobby content
-build trust by communicating well and following through on your commitments
-ask the hobby for help on procedural concerns
-take the time you think it’s going to take you and multiply it by 12. If you can’t invest that amount of time in it, then rethink.
-if you are going to have a stack sale, be clear about the sports you are dropping, how long you are dropping, and how much you are dropping. Unfortunately, dropping a few dozen cards in one day and then telling everyone the sale is over and you will send totals out really...
Dissapoints buyers who expected, well to build a stack.
I know this is extreme, but I’m seeing this a lot and you will likely not get much repeat business doing it this way.

There is a fine line between promoting your sale and over selling your sale.
Aside from that, this hobby is diverse. There are hit collectors, specialty collectors, there are player collectors, team base collectors, set collectors, modern collectors, vintage, graded. Generally you will get a cross section participating. Focus on communicating well and
Following through on commitments.

Dm me with any questions although I can only give sale vouches for people that I have personally had history with. Otherwise, my vouches mean nothing.
Many people did business with me last year, and I purchased or traded with over a hundred of those people in return. I think I finally accomplished reciprocity with every single one of them. Correct me by dm if I’m wrong in that, but I think that’s a correct statement.
And so if you are new to me this year and are doing business with me, and are having an upcoming sale...please tag me. My teams are in my profile and while my PC is very deep, I’m usually interested in anything that I don’t have that I can afford.
So to net this out, I’m a hobby guy. I’m not trying to make a living off of this.
The people are more important to me than the cards.
I care about manners, and setting a good example for younger collectors.
For those who need a break check, at times I may enforce etiquette.
It’s part of who I am.

And so, if you are new to Hobby Twitter, welcome. It’s a great place to be. Happy collecting.
I want to compliment the new Twitter hobby people who are completing small sales and trades to get acclimated and build credibility.
As a point of note, when you send your buyer or trade partner photos of your BMWT or PWE shortly after completing your transaction you are...
Setting a great example for success and also putting that persons mind at ease because it’s clear that your addressed package w postage has shipped or shipping is imminent. So again, communicate, commit, and follow through is a great basis to be a good Twitter hobby person.
