Republicans will propose shutting down every public library in America before raising a single tax on anyone, and Democrats will vociferously fight for a compromise where libraries just charge $10 admission instead

Government is not a business, the “run it like a business” line is bullshit, you are not the CEO who takes a gesture pay cut because of a poor sales quarter, why are Democrats such inept cowards on this

You are the fucking government, your job is to help people, you are not helping anybody by giving up part of your salary, raise taxes and pay for the shit that people need, CHRIST.
