I realise it’s not the most pressing question right now, but I’d love to know what software has fallen over today because “the price of oil could be negative” isn’t an edge case the developers thought to test for.
Let’s also consider that languages like C or Java, which have unsigned ints, could be affected by this.

Languages like Python or JS, which don’t, would be fine.

Today will raise further questions of whether it’s possible to write correct software in a statically typed language.
