[PLZ READ] Hello ATINYS! I am desi, and not only am I part of this culture, I studied various South Asian cultures throughout my life! South Asia is an extremely diverse continent that gave birth to Buddhism. The religion is now widely practiced in South East and East Asia.-

This includes South Korea. Roughly 15% of koreans are Buddhist but many are brought up with Buddhist values and practices in their childhood. Buddhism is a part of korean culture. As you can see in the video, a traditional korean song plays that reminds them of their school days-

They dance to it with the dance they learnt in school. The dance has Buddhist influences. This is not cultural appropriation bc 1) the song is not indian 2) the dance has Buddhist influences and Buddhism is part of korean culture

I notice the people who are calling it cultural appropriation are not even desi themselves and have a skewed view of indian culture. The person who started this did it to drag ateez. Please do not email kq the boys did nothing wrong!
