These are the counts of death certificates in the US since Feb 1, 2020. CDC reports 13,130 CV19 deaths in the US since 2/1/20 and an addition 5,902 deaths from cv19 & pneumonia totaling 19,032

However if you google or search anywhere for #COVID19 deaths you will see numbers in the 40,000 range....
For example:
google "covid19 deaths US" and you will get this lovely informative page...full of stats and graphs and numbers.
But where are these numbers coming from??

On the about page you will see that they claim this data "only includes people tested" "Cases only include people who were tested and confirmed positive"......
The About page also indicates that the data comes from Wikipedia and that the daily situation reports are available from the @WHO - click that link.
As luck would have it, the @WHO situation reports come out weekly and there is a brand new one out today......Click the link for Situation Report - 91
Situation Report contains the Death Count chart and once again makes the claim "...with reported laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 cases and deaths"
The chart shows the US with 34,203 CV19 deaths (I suppose the MSM just rounds it up to 40,000k) but let us continue....

Suspect Cases
A patient has a cold and:
- travels to a place reporting covid19 within last 14 days
- been in contact with a confirmed or PROBABLE CV19 case
- has an absence of an alternative diagnosis
In other words you have CV19 if they can't diagnosis it as anything else....

Probable Cases (my favorite)
if the CV19 test is inconclusive OR wasn't performed for any reason, you guessed it, you have COVID19.

So on one hand, we are told the 40K number is ONLY CONFIRMED, TESTED CASES.....
However, the WHO standards for what constitutes a positive is nearly anything BUT a positive test.
