And make transit work better by funding it and getting cars out of the way, too.
Many well-to-do people will make the choice to get a car when this is done. That will be bad for our city. Is there really any debate over that?
At a time when @MTA is facing historic revenue shortfalls, the post-COVID era is hardly the time for the privileged to abandon transit, giving lawmakers yet another excuse to reduce funding even more. As the crisis proves, our essential workers need transit.
