Hey! Today’s my first day at Netflix Animation as a color designer on a new unannounced project!! I’m so excited and grateful for this opportunity and I can’t wait to share more

I've gotten a few questions about my Color Design position and what exactly that role entails in animation: basically, I’m responsible for coloring characters, props, and effects! This includes their base colors, along with any color shifts for time of day and special lighting.
It's the very last step in the design process (after line art and background paint); it's the stage where we tie everything together with that final look of the shot and making sure all the design elements work together and look cohesive!
