. @ItsJoshJohnson and I got married five years ago today! We did it at @MovingImageNYC. We called it #DialMForMarriage. It was a great day that I& #39;m still very proud of. I& #39;ll tweet about it a little today, for the love of happiness and movie theaters and NYC and friends and family.
We tried hard to recreate the feel of a movie premiere in every way. We also prioritized entertaining people, making every guest feel included, and subverting expectations wherever possible, on screen and off.

Friends made posters for us - 12 in all - that we used as centerpieces and gave away in the gift bags and they still make me laugh on a regular basis. There are so many more and I love them so much.
Josh and I don& #39;t ever wear rings, but we do have a VCR, so instead of exchanging rings, we exchanged VHS copies of The Ring.
