OK, I’m not big on threads but this is the last time I’m ever going to address the MJ vs. LeBron debate because in all honesty I’ve grown tired of the 3-6 Mafia and its never-ending excuses, insults and flat-out B.S.
Let’s start with something easy: the 1992 Dream Team. LOOK AT THIS DAMN ROSTER. Every single man in this photo is an individual career HOFer in college, the pros or both. This is the greatest assembly of talent on a single team in sports history, bar none
The guys in this photo not named Scottie Pippen went a combined 0-7 vs. MJ in the Finals. Only one of them-Larry Bird-has a win over him in any playoff round
MJ’s PPG averages in his 6 Finals appearances:

1991 - 31.2 against Magic’s Lakers
1992 - 35.8 against Drexler’s Blazers
1993 - 41.0 against Barkley’s Suns
1996 - 27.3 against Shawn Kemp and Gary Payton’s Sonics
1997 - 32.3
1998 - 33.5 both against Malone and Stockton’s Jazz
MJ’s Bulls defeated at least one future HOFer in each of their 6 Finals wins, all in 6 games or less. He scored 30+ points in 23 of those games
That’s just a very small analytical sampling that doesn’t even account for MJ’s intangibles like his impact on the NBA’s global reach, raw killer instinct, the flu game, etc. I could literally go on for days, but I won’t
Allow me to conclude with this: LeBron is an all-time great player. That said, he’s not better than MJ. He’s not even 2nd. And he never will be. He’s a mega-star with fans who have a massive inferiority complex and make people hate him because they won’t-or can’t-stop whining
