Thread on Non-Dualism!
1. There is no difference the perceiver and the perceived, just awareness aware of itself. (That's the point of meditation imo.)
There is no noun, no matter, no thing, just verbs, action, being.
2. Concepts, filters, layers, perspective, are all apart of dualistic thinking. All are made by the mind and create a separation between a "self" and "that." It is your ego or "self" that is taking credit for experiences by condensing the inconceivable into concepts /finite forms
3. From direct experience there is no hearer, only hearing, no seer only seeing, no smell only smelling.
4. Consciousness can become conscious of itself because it is nothing but itself.
Anything that is conceptual or can be described with language is not non-dualism.
"Belief" and dogma are simply sensory inputs / outputs.
Everything is just sensations. The solidification and labels of the sensations is what creates these "concepts" and a divide between body, mind, and "awareness" or consciousness.
6. Maybe the "brain" is just another object that can be meditated on, a perception. It arises from the God-head or Absolute awareness.
7. Even The Tao Te Ching touches on non-dualism.
It's funny most see the Yin-Yang as a "balance" or separation between "good and evil" when in reality it's One symbol.
8. Vedanta means Veda (referring to the Sanksrit text) and Anta which means "end." Which basically means the ultimate knowledge of the Vedas.

Atman is "outside" of you and it is "inside" of you. It is, you are it.
9/9. That's it for now, will probably add more to this thread in the coming days, gonna go make cook some venison now.

10. Advaita means not two. All objects and Beings are simply manifestations of Brahman.
