Today's the first time a lot of people are hearing Dr. Dre- The Chronic. No knock on them, just glad people are able to hear the classic LP.

A thread of behind the scene & often forgotten artists who crafted the classic album's sound.
RBX- Also known as The Narrator, RBX wrote vivid, gruesome rhymes for Dr. Dre & made 7 guest appearances on the album. He was the 1st notable artist to leave Death Row and went on to release 5 albums and collaborate with Eminem, MC Ren & Freestyle Fellowship.
Colin Wolfe- A talented musician Colin played the bass guitar & keyboard throughout the album. He later reunited with Dre by playing the bass on Forgot about Dre & Xxplosive on 2001.
The Lady of Rage- Commanding the same respect as her male counterparts, Rage delivered memorable verses on the album, most notably Stranded on Death Row. She went onto appear on Doggystyle, drop the hit Afro Puffs, but had her LP repeatedly delayed.
Jewell- The commanding voice featured on hits Fuck wit Dre Day & Let Me Ride, she also appeared three other tracks. She had a hit with Snoop- What's My Name and appeared on other Death Row projects through the decade.
The D.O.C.- The unsung Hip Hop innovator thrived in his behind the scenes role after a near fatal car crash. He wrote parts of tracks, most notably, Let Me Ride & Nuthin but a G Thang. Appeared on the $20 Sack Pyramid skit.
Chris "The Glove" Taylor- Taylor, one of LA's earliest Hip Hop stars, helped mix & master the classic album, giving it the funky, polished, yet gritty sound. Also co-produced Stranded on Death Row. Collaborated with Dre on Doggystyle, The Firm, and 2001.
