should we...should we talk about the perception of desis in asia? is that a conversation we’re ready to have, considering there is a narrative running to dismount issues we face as “bad but not that bad”

if you’ve been a kpop stan for a while you’ll have seen the skorean view on south asia (namely india) and desi culture. whenever they’re asked about india they literally just say “curry?”

i’ll continue this thread on my side account. in the mean time... i am tired of desi appropriation being out ruled as not (desi) appropriation or when it cant be it’s compared to other situations so the current isn’t “that bad”. please stop that!
