Still thinking about how the Martez arc of Clone Wars could have been two episodes, freeing up two more episodes for something else. I CAn't Decide how Best they could hAve desigNatEd that time, though.

Idea for a Clone Wars arc: through a hilariously convoluted set of whacky circumstances, the fate of the Republic rests on General Obi-Wan Kenobi's ability to pretend to be Cad Bane's boyfriend at his family reunion.

"Obi-Wan's or Cad Bane's family?"
Both, they happen to be happening back to back on the same weekend.

Cad Bane's family all talk and act exactly like him. His gam-gam is wearing a huge flower print dress and says "Cad, my baby it's been SO LONG. Ooh, and you brought a friend? You gotta know we're a hugging family, so come with Mama Bane some love."

But like. Like Cad Bane.

The whole family is convinced Cad works at a speedercar dealership.
Kenobi: "Selling speedercars?"
Cad: "Yes, dear, my family has always supported my line of work. *under breath* Don't you dare ruin this for me, Kenobi, do you want to make Mama Bane sad?"
Kenobi: N...No. Never.

Meanwhile, the Kenobi house is party. Everyone is trashed. His cousins are doing keg stands on the front lawn while his uncle nearly loses his eyebrows trying to make a deep-fried Porg for dinner. His aunt's first remark to Cad is that "No wonder Obi likes you with that ass."

Cad Bane spends the entire party trying to get Obi-Wan to crack and revertigo back into the party animal within.

"It's in your blood, Kenobi. I've SEEN it."

(I have no idea if Legends or NuCanon have ever explored Obi-Wan's family and I know the whole point of the Jedi is they take you away as a kid and you never see your family again but I don't CARE this is CANON in my HEART now.)
