Hey there, I’m @davidmfuchs, an RFA corps member with @KUER. I’m based in Southwest Utah and have been working remotely here for nearly a year now.

There’s a lot to love about this place and this role, and I’m looking forward to telling you about them both throughout the day.
During #CorpsMemberMondays, reporters often share photos of their workspaces.

But as I’m often on the road covering rural areas, my favorite “office” is the back of my ’99 Suburban.

(Not pictured: my equally scenic kitchen table, where I actually do most of my work).
Teaming up with colleagues has been one of the best parts of working @KUER. A standout was working with @auskelso on 'The Gray Area' — a radio story on student homelessness that evolved into a doc film and multimedia page on housing gaps in St. George.

Another highlight is working alongside fellow RFA Corps Memebrr @kgroetzi, who covers SE Utah for @KUER.

We get to work together on the occasion our coverage areas overlap — and have even met up to explore the state when our vacation schedules align.
It’s hard to squeeze a year in SW Utah into a handful of tweets, so feel free to reach out to @davidmfuchs if you have any questions about this thread or this place.
