Exactly 494 years ago, the 75 years of Pashtun rule of the Delhi Sultanate came to an end when Babur defeated the last Pashtun ruler Ibrahim Khan Lodhi [Reign1517 – 21 April 1526] at Panipat (1st Battle of Panipat).
