The next time I hear someone say "Do your own research" when dealing with topics like pandemics, climate change, the shape of the Earth, etc etc, I'm going to demand to see their testing procedures, the P value of their studies and their peer reviewed journal entries.

If their response is "YouTube" or "Facebook", (I'm aware of the irony of what I'm about to say), then demand to see THAT person's testing procedures, studies and peer reviewed journals. *IF* that fails, and the person can't cite sources WITH proper testing procedures, IT IS FAKE

This pandemic is riddled with misinformation and people denouncing literal experts. People who FULL BLOWN study this stuff for their career and are proclaiming it to be fake. Unfortunately, this is something that will immediately affect and impact us all.

While I never ever would want this to continue to kill people, I do hope after this is all said and done that scientists and doctors can finally return as experts and voices of reason and society might start valuing scientific literacy because it will have saved our species.
