This country must have a reckoning, similar to India, with the way it views women. It goes beyond workplace harassment or even sexual assault, and into the way we seem to treat these issues as so mundane that they can be weaponized politically in the worst ways possible w/o care.

Anita Hill, Christine Blasey Ford, Tara Reade, and many other women that challenge powerful government officials deserve our gratitude. They have made immensely difficult choices so that the next generation of women will not have to be so silent.

I only wish members of my party actually understood that.
