All that talk about law school and college had me thinking - I was pretty much a scam in college

Did well in first moot, so the rest followed. At every step I worked with people smarter than me who helped me when I was struggling.

For exams, I was steadily mediocre, which was
enough to get a job and enough to pass first class. I was not exceptional in anything, I never made an effort to learn one area of law properly.

I could read the professor's better than the textbooks, so every answer paper was crafted according to how I thought they'd correct
my paper, and not always the law.

I read a few articles, I read a few judgements - I read enough to sound like I knew something, but never enough to actually learn the subject - just didn't care enough about anything that I'd sink into it.
Also wish I didn't write Keshavanand Bharti vs UOI as a filler everytime I didn't know a case law for something.
Also wish I read CPC and CrPC better 😭😭😭😭
Like CPC is so cool

I love instructions on how to do things. I enjoy reading them (as dorky as it sounds)

And CPC has instructions for most things!!!!

How come I didn't read it in college and just learnt res judicata and shut the book.

It's so detailed and nice.
^ realise this sounds more like a review of a food blogger than a practitioner talking about one of the most important elements of civil practice, but I stand by it.
ALSO VERY IMPORTANT AND ALWAYS REMEMBER:

when you're out of law school, nobody cares where you studied or what you did in college, and everybody will be your friend if you have spare court fee stamps and an extra pen handy.
Finally - yes, was depressed in college

know very few people who got out unscathed without any mental issues.
