I feel pretty darn loved here on twitter, but sometimes I wonder how many people actually consider me a friend? I feel like I always overestimate friendship feels.

A mutual (who I considered a friend) unfollowed me recently. We were friendly enough that I had their number in my phone. When I checked in with them about it, they said they didn’t think we were that close, and was surprised when I expressed how much I actually like them!

I just really love, like, most people a LOT, and if I interact with you semi-regularly, I consider you a friend. I try to see it as a good thing but then when I learn it’s not reciprocated I’m like abdjasbjahsjsjsjdn am I just too casual about who I consider a friend?
