#OpenNY protest happening in Niagara Square in Buffalo right now.

At least several dozen cars involved (hard to get an accurate count when they’re moving). One is displaying a confederate flag for some reason.

There are Buffalo police in cars and on foot and around the perimeter of the entire traffic circle.

I did see Assemblyman David DiPietro in one of the vehicles.

The protest is starting to back up traffic at the circle now.

Former GOP gubernatorial candidate Carl Paladino is walking around with a megaphone. He says he’s making sure people don’t get out of their cars. “I don’t want anybody to get hurt.”
