It's really embarrassing when Trump, who isn't exactly known for paying attention to details, has a better handle of the facts and situation than a reporter that has had time to research beforehand. https://twitter.com/weijia/status/1252174865228009474
We didn't have community spread of the virus until late Feb. There was no need for widespread testing in January (though we should have started the process). We are currently doing ~146K tests per day.
The "many Americans are saying" thing is nonsense revisionist history. She claims he shouldn't have had rallies in February because it was clear.. umm why were leading Dems having similar rallies 2 weeks into March????

Maybe it wasn't clear then...
Also, the whole complaint that the travel ban didn't extend to U.S. citizens and green card holders is ridiculous. Imagine the reaction if Trump had tried to strand U.S. citizens and legal residents in China at the end of Jan?

I would have personally called for his impeachment.
There are things to criticize Trump and the admin for...

He downplayed the virus for 1.5 critical weeks in March. CDC/FDA screwed up testing capacity for 4-6 weeks etc.

But reporters should learn the facts and stop trying to score points based on pure revisionism.
