I learned a lot (of useless information HAHA) about myself by watching Coffee Friends. Grateful for this show and my realizations from it.

My friends know I’m not a fan of kvarieties (esp talk shows) and I don’t watch even those feat. my biases. Starting from EXO, CF cemented my theory that I stan based on output (performance, talent, cafe worker lol).
I rarely feel the need to know more abt my idols (bc of industry PR - discussion for another day) but when a variety is so nicely done like Coffee Friends you feel like you rly get to know them as people.
Over the course of 10 eps u see them tired, w aching backs, putting pain relief patches on one another, and know it’s impossible that it’s just for show. Coming from a sports fandom (what u see is what u get), kpop is a totally diff animal but I’m glad for rare gems like CF
