being around the age of a lot of these kids, i can tell you a few things
a) they absolutely, 100%, without a shadow of a doubt, know they’re being racist. this “oh i didn’t know” is an act bc this is the type of thing they be sending to their black peers to mess with them https://twitter.com/chibithot/status/1252221527904473088

b) while some may not of have planned to blow up, this is exactly the type of thing that be happening behind the scenes in schools and what so many black kids grow up being exposed to. they be racist asl in real life too
c) a lot of them do want to blow up, they want people to agree with them but above all their intention is to anger the black community. they wanna be able to call us snowflakes and they get off on the negative attention.
d) and they have the same access to the internet as we do. they SEE all these racists getting their college acceptances revoked, losing scholarships, etc just like we do! they see it and know the consequences but they feel so strongly to get their “joke” off, they do it anyways-
and play victim when it’s their turn to get dragged. ultimately you can feel anyway you want about it, but ask the MAJORITY of black teens and we can tell you that they know they’re being discriminatory & can provide our firsthand experiences w/ racism inflicted by our nb peers.
also their apologies are complete & utter bs. you cannot just be racist one day and suddenly you’re not the next. exhibit a) that video of the girl & her bf: she went on her Insta story to say she was sorry, but when it was clear that the general public wasn’t going to-
accept her apology, she went straight back into being racist. they’re not sorry that they made the video/comments, they’re just sorry it’s messing with their future.
you can see it for yourself
again another example, because somehow WE ruined their lives and not themselves by being racist https://twitter.com/wilkybeking/status/1251533297693478912
also once you have exposed them, stop giving them publicity! this is the first and last time imma directly engage with that girl. the way people keep tweeting about her, spamming her socials, she gon make a virtual appearance on Dr. Phil by the end of this month
you have to realize black outrage generates clicks, clicks generates money, if this continues someone will see that & want to profit off that, which is exactly how we end up launching the careers of those who wrong us. expose them if you want, then let them fade into irrelevancy
