The World has been changing recently & Covid-19 has sealed that. Every global change or serious occurrence changes the way business & things are done. Consider the opportunities with 4G, mobile phones, computers and social media etc. @AdedoyinAfun @kunleobebe @NaijaFlyingDr

Change, global change in particular, creates new millionaires and billionaires (in Naira & Dollars, more dollars, lol!). Consider the stories around the improved & increasing profitability of zoom, amazon & such other digital platforms. @AO1379 @iaboyeji @bosuntijani @akinalabi

Usually, there are also victims of such changes. Some become former millionaires and billionaires and some people even take their own lives and or lose relevance, completely. Hence, it is important to re-work business models, ideas, deculturize and reculturize. @sam_adeyemi

We all need to find a niche we can quickly ramp up capacity around. We need to re-think our business models, maybe build virtual/ online business and if already online, expand/extend our online business as it becomes business unusual. Get more online market place share!

We must also change our citizenship, as more and more people become netizens. We too must become netizens to succeed in the changing times. The advent of 5G, would further change the way business is done especially with many of the customers now netizens and digital natives.

Issues like blockchain, already playing a crucial role in businesses, digital control and ability to manage businesses remotely are very crucial to the business of the future. Same for ensuring the digitalization of processes, online teaching, coaching, mentoring etc. are now key

The church, mosques and such other places of worship must also go with the flow. Digitalize, or go extinct. This change is unlikely to spare any class or category of people, businesses or institutions!

Your staff/employees now care, more than ever, about 'the experience', (UX/UI of some sort). They really want to enjoy working with the organization. Doesn’t mean they’ll be with you forever, but want to enjoy their time whilst with you. @funbi_matthew

For students, more than ever before there would be new areas of study which would probably end up being more useful and profitable in the new World. These areas could even be under professional courses already existing but with new topics. @LASU_official @lshaofficial

For developing countries, broadband will now be a big issue as internet access for the new netizens and digital natives becomes a must have and possibly, with a change in the necessities of life now becoming food, cloth, shelter and ‘internet access’. @jidesanwoolu @toyosirise

Elections, more than ever before, would be digitally influenced! Recall that until recently, politicians didn’t have social media aides. With the changed & continuing changing World, there would be more digital influence. @toluogunlesi @OgbeniDipo @AO1379 @Chude @DebolaLagos

Businesses like aviation, pharmaceutical, health, education etc. would change for ever, for good or bad, depending on the steps taken by their owners and the groups controlling same. The internet of things will be more relevant in business. @bosuntijani

Programming, blockchain, coding, analytics and data would now be crucial for excellent decision making. Data, definitely, is the new oil and will remain so, for a long time. Algorithms will even achieve a higher status! @bosuntijani @OmoKakafiala @iaboyeji @Mochievous

Oil producing countries need to sit up as the battle is on different fronts from ‘nationalistic globalism’, to the continued development of renewable sources of energy as alternatives to fossil fuels, to the peak oil theory, corruption and the Dutch Disease. @NNPCgroup

There is the need to re-think policy, to save more aggressively, maybe even digitalize more; the trading systems, create alternative uses for their production and even also localize use as ‘nationalistic globalism’ takes flight. @nsia_nigeria

HR Managers, would no longer be just HR managers but managers of User/Staff Experiences. Would need to understand Blockchain, maybe even coding. There would be need to use algorithms for better quality staff. The role of date here would be crucial. @jack @funbi_matthew

The World has changed and will continue to. We all need to find a niche and see how we can benefit from the changing World so we don’t lose out or be victims of change. We need to re-think our business models, build virtual/online businesses, increase of online presence @jack
