Do your potatoes have eyes?
Don't waste them, plant them for a new bag of potatoes. You can plant in growing bags, compost filled boxes, or straight into loose soil.

Anyone tried this one yet? Regrowing mushrooms from the stalks sounds like a great way to boost your vitamin D intake naturally. As like human skin, mushrooms are able to create vitamin D when exposed to sunshine.
I just planted some sprouting garlic, has little use left in the kitchen yet 6 sprouting cloves will produce me 6 more bulbs. Once the sprouts reach 10 inches cut them down a bit to focus more energy into growing the new garlic bulb.
Peppers are pretty easy to grow. Save the seeds from a pepper you've used in cooking, pot them up and watch them grow in a sunny spot. Same applies for sweet and bell peppers.
Always good to have fresh herbs on the go. At the moment I have basil growing from seed, however this seems like a great way to start off an older rooting plant.
