A thread of thanks from the exasperated parents of the world.

Today our kids are #backtoschool (well home school at the kitchen table at least).

And after a month of home schooling, we’ve realised there are some things we’ll never take for granted again.

So...
THANK YOU to our teachers and teaching assistants!

How you resist the urge to introduce ‘movie time’ by 11am every day is beyond us!
THANK YOU to the school chefs!

...who somehow manage to come up with five different meals a week that ALL meet the nutritional needs of a growing child (and NEVER even consider beans on toast).
THANK YOU to our nursery workers and childminders!

...who manage to stay sane no matter how many time they’re asked to sing ‘Dingle Dangle Scarecrow’ and can entertain a group of children for hours with nought but some card, pritstick and dry pasta.
THANK YOU to our school administrators!

...who always stay on top of the requirements and important dates for hundreds of children! We're currently struggling to remember what day it is.
THANK YOU to our school cleaners!

...who somehow stay on top of the mess made by THIRTY children in each classroom every day! (Yet when we tidy our living room it’s a mess again after 20 minutes).
THANK YOU to our school caretakers!

...any tips on staying well stocked on the essentials (particularly loo roll) would be much appreciated!
And finally THANK YOU to all you parents out there, who are currently combining all the roles above and so much more besides!

You're all doing an amazing job through these incredibly difficult times.👏👏👏
