A story
Imagine you buy a puppy, cute, hairy, white and black puppy. And you tell this puppy, "I'll clothe you, feed you, bathe you, walk you, all you need to do is be happy to see me when I come back from a stressful day."

And it works for the first month or two.
But then, the puppy begins to grow bigger and smarter and thinks to himself, "why does my owner always go out and I'm locked in here? I want to explore the outside world, and be able to come back home". But he still loves his owner very much, so he stays home.
But as time goes on, he looks longingly through the windows and his owner notices that he wants more than the evening walks, he wants to be let loose, and so one day, the owner leaves the backdoor open. The dog doesn't know it but be finds out after about a week and starts
frequenting the outdoors and playing with other dogs, and other humans because he's a really cute dog before coming back to his owner.
One day though, he doesn't come back, because he feels that the outdoors is more fun than staying home just to make his owner happy.
Of course, what he doesn't know is that in the outdoors, nighttime is real. No one will put out a bowl of food for him, no one will wash him, or give him warm blankets to sleep in, that there are people who want him for fur and killers for food, and that there are needles that'll
Injure his paws, and that his other dog friends won't be out in the night, and that the street would be dark, he doesn't know this. After a week of the outdoors, he is hungry, lost and sick, and he misses his owner and he wishes he never left his home.
But it's too late for that
