I would rather have coronavirus than lose my income and the ability to feed my family. And it's not even a close call. The people who treat unemployment like some minor little inconvenience obviously don't have families. Or else they're godforsaken liars.
And before anyone says it: yes obviously if I die of the virus, I'll lose my income and a lot more. But the death rate for someone like me is extremely low. So I'd rather take my chance on the virus than be unemployed and unable to care for the people who depend on me.
To all the people pointing out that I still have a job: yes you’re right. Great dunk. But actually I’m concerned about people who don’t have jobs. If the concept of being concerned about other people is foreign to you, that’s your own issue.
