Nobody asked but here are some thoughts I have about the 1979 Ridley Scott film, Alien: 1. Why the fuck does every spaceship have a weird room. The Nostromo has a room full of wet chains??? The wet chain room serves what function other than a plot device to hide the alien?

2. When Parker hits Ash and he bleed white fluid we all know he's a robot. Who decided all robots bleed white?? Is it hydraulic fluid?? 


3. Jonesy is the best character after Ripley. Parker is 3rd.
4. Flamethrowers on a spacecraft seem like a bad idea. Probably against FAA regulations, but I'd have to check.
5. Love how the "scientist" is "so obsessed with collecting specimens he is blind to personal danger". Rude, but also
