“We said the BBC would be there for people through this crisis, and we meant it” - says BBC Education Boss, Alice Webb, in statement to journalists.
Lessons start tomorrow. Bitesize Daily website will say what your child *would* be learning in school every morning, so you can download materials and check the syllabus.

The “daily drop” will showcase videos, quizzes, podcasts and work papers that you can download.
BBC Four will air on weekday evenings old documentaries and dramas that support GCSE and A Level lessons. From Andrew Marr docs to Shakespeare.

BBC Bitesize Daily on iPlayer and Red Button is a show, split according to age groups. New maths and English every day too.
There are also guides for helping teach children, including those with special education needs. The website for details:

If you see Mr Firth, let me know. he’s one of the 200 teachers chosen.

when I was 19 I worked in a tea shop in York with him. And now he’s teaching maths on television. he’s bloody great and what a small world.
And I still wish Kenneth Williams was with us. Imagine if he taught science lessons like this: https://twitter.com/granttucker/status/949320731816615938?s=21 https://twitter.com/granttucker/status/949320731816615938
