Quarantine day ???????: about to reseason an old cast-iron skillet—any tips?
God reseasoning a pan is as satisfyng as MOISTURIZING ur face. Made eggs n they were perfect 😌 crispy edges n a bright yellow yolk to dip toast in. I guess we could sear meat now but I’d really rather not cook with it. Fave skillet recipes?
Just gonna pop all the things I make with this skillet into this thread. The blistered green beans could’ve been in there a lil longer but I’m not that brave yet
Baking stresses me the fuck out but we had a lot of pears & I wanted to play with the skillet. Made a super delicious spiced tart & hated every moment of it 😌
