So, I was reading through some soulmate au prompts and got particularly interested in the one where "everything you write/draw on your skin will also appear on your soulmate's"
And now I'm stuck with this Daisuga idea in which Daichi is still a policeman but Suga is a nurse and they don't know each other from school and Daichi has no idea what all those numbers that often appear on his arms mean -
Because, really? Who still writes on his own arms/hands at the age of 27, and are those X20GA, X18GA, 1037 codes for something he should maybe investigate...?
But then he ends up in hospital for whatever reason and that nurse with gray hair and the mole under his left eye is so nice to him, and reassuring, and... "what is that thing you just wrote on your hand?"
"Oh? I just put a new cannula on another patient and since I'm going to record it later I mark the spot in myself so I don't forget... See: the X marks the place and 20GA is the type of cannula I've used..."
And then Daichi stops following and only smiles because thank God his soulmate is not a criminal who writes down criminal codes/pins on himself but a nurse (apparently the one is asked to put cannulas in the whole ward judging by of how many he marks on his arms)
And when Suga is finished with the explanation Daichi goes "I hope you rememberd to record the 18GA one? I think it was here...?" brushing his finger in the crease of his elbow and Suga's eyes widened cause with his job he never really ever though about soulmates -
- and maybe it's not very professional, but he's definitely going to ask Daichi if they can see each other again after he's discharged.
(I'm the nurse who marks cannulas on my own arms cause I don't have time to record it straight away. Suga is me. I am Suga)
So tonight in the ward we have a patient under arrest who has police escort... perfect scenario for this thread
