I've been reading about the Tulip Staircase apparition of Queen's House in Greenwich and it's rly cool and creepy

This is Queen's house, it was built in the early 17th century but fell into disrepair before being used as a prison during the english civil war

It is home to the Tulip Staircase, the first unsupported spiral staircase in the UK. The building is now the national maritime museum and when visiting in 1966 a canadian man named Ralph Hardy wished to get a picture of the staircase for his wife

2/6
the staircase itself was cordoned off, but Hardy took a picture of what he could see from behind the barrier and then returned to his day. Upon returning home though he saw something in his photograph

the photo, shown below, clearly shows a ghostly figure in a hooded robe on the stairs. It is known if it is climbing up or falling down. Hardy confirmed there was nobody on the stairs at the time as the stairs were off limits to all visitors

Hardy sent his photograph to photo experts including the manufactures of the camera who confirmed there had not been a double exposure and that there was no tampering - the figure appeared right on the film.

To this day the photo is considered genuine

other paranormal happenings have occurred at Queen's House, including strange footsteps and the chants of unknown children.

one story tells of a pale ghostly figure, dressed in victorian dress mopping up blood on the bottom of the staircase
