10 must visit tourist attractions in Lagos after this Corona period and why.
1. Lekki Conservation Centre (LCC): this place is located along Lekki-Epe expressway. LCC would provide you an opportunity to enjoy nature, relax and have a good time without the typical lagos noise. I’d recommend you climb the treehouse and do the Canopy walk when you get there.
2. Nigeria National Museum: located at Onikan, this museum is rich in Nigerian history. I’m not just talking about boring political history, but also culture, entertainment, arts and crafts. You would leave here with a better knowledge of Nigeria. It’s also very affordable.
3. Badagry: there are many noteworthy spots to visit in Babdagry. Some of them includes the point of no return, Seriki Abass Museum, Agiya Tree monument, Badagry Heritage Museum, first story building in Nigeria, slave Attenuation well, Mobee slave Museum & Whispering Palms resort
4. Nike Art Gallery: before you proceed to Nike Art Gallery, make sure you get your mind ready to be blown away. This is a 5-story building filled completely with every shape, color & form of artwork you can imagine. I can’t describe it, just go see for yourself. Entry is free.
5. Ofada Boy: This indigenous restaurant in Surulere is a go-to spot for those who want to have a feel of the traditional. Don’t be deceived by their name, while they serve awesome Ofada, their native soups are actually what I go there for. Oh, they also serve Palmwine 😉.
I’d continue the other half of the thread tomorrow. But before then, where are your favourite tourist attractions in Lagos that you’d love to see on this list?
