Since SM doesn't know how to handle NCT, here's how I would do it, a thread:
To clarify, I am in no way hating on NCT. They're my second favorite boy group, but I dislike what SM is doing with them. The bizarre Dream OT7 announcement was the straw that broke the camels back for this thread. Also, I might add stuff more as time goes on
-Don't add anymore members or units.
I love NCT's concept, but it's clearly escaped them. Making a new unit without overworking anyone (even more) would essentially mean hiring all new trainees. At that point, they're not NCT, they're just another SM boy group

-Let Haechan graduate from Dream
Haechan is proving himself in 127, and although he's incredible in Dream, the boy is clearly overworked. The Dreamies are talented enough to hold their own with Haechan

-Don't let Mark rejoin Dream
Now that Mark is rejoining, Mark, the Dreamies, and NCTzens essentially went through emotional torture for no reason. Tears were shed, and now SM is pretty much just said "jk". Everyone knows that Mark is overworked, but he's literally in 3 groups rn

-Fixed units: OT9 127, OT7 WayV, and OT5 Dream.
Everyone's dynamic is great, there's no need to mess it up. Seriously, if ANYONE else joins 127, I will lose my god damn mind.

WayV literally has 12 songs. Dream's last comeback was eight months ago. We got official conformation of Dream's comeback two weeks before it came out, which means way less promo. They all deserve better

-Monthly U songs including members from all units.
Nothing too crazy. There doesn't even need to be an MV or music show promo for every song. I mean, there's 21 members for fuck's sake, it shouldn't be that hard to have a couple members sing a song once a month.

It doesn't necessarily have to be as big as Empathy, but anything to remind people what NCT really is. We don't need another Black on Black per say, I'm even fine with just calendar/merch stuff.
